If a loved one or complete stranger were to suddenly collapse and become unresponsive, would you know how to respond? Each year in the US, more than 1,000 individuals (of all ages ) will collapse suffering Sudden Cardiac Arrest. How you respond is critical to that persons survival or not. Unfortunately, less than 10% of these individuals will survive.
June 1-7th is National CPR/AED Awareness week. To start the awareness week off the team at Rendezvous Brewery and fellow area cabin owner and Heart Safe advocate Norm Okerstrom, invite you to a complimentary CPR and AED training on Saturday June 1st.
The training is scheduled from 4-5:30 p.m. This training includes how to recognize both heart attacks as well as Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) and how to respond in both instances. You will learn the skills necessary to provide chest compressions (Hands Only/No Rescue Breaths) and how to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) with confidence!
